Clinic space is limited to the first 30 field players and 6 goalkeepers for each session.

TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

9:15 am ­- Arrival to ESU and Check-In
9:45 am - Morning Clinic Session
12:45 pm - Lunch and Tour of Campus
2:30 pm - College Seminar
4 pm - Finished (approximate)
 

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • This clinic is designed for the serious field hockey athlete
  • Participants must be a high school varsity starter
  • All training sessions are run by the ESU coaching staff on campus
  • Clinic session will include lots of game play with an emphasis on evaluation
  • Afternoon includes campus tour, lunch at ESU’s cafeteria, Dansbury Commons and a college recruiting seminar.
  •  Parents/Guardians may watch practice from the stands. They are encouraged to join the campus tour, lunch at the cafeteria and the recruiting seminar. Only the athlete will have their meal comped at the cafeteria. Any additional family members will need to pay on their own.

CAMP CARE SERVICES:

Our ESU Camp Care Staff are first aid and CPR/AED certified. Camp Care Staff will provide athletic training services to the participants during the hours that camp is in session and will refer medical emergencies and illnesses to the Lehigh Valley Health Network-Pocono Medical Center, located one block from campus.

MEDICAL INSURANCE:

ESU does not provide individuals with medical insurance. Campers must provide their own medical insurance plans. ESU is not responsible for paying medical deductibles or hospital costs for any camper.

DEPOSIT/PAYMENT/CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS:

There is a $50 non-refundable deposit. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Office of Conference Services within 14 days of the last day of camp. No refunds will be issued to campers sent home for disciplinary reasons. No refunds will be issued after that time. Please allow six to eight weeks for processing of any refunds.

Medical documentation must be required for refund. Please send refund requests to smiller@esu.edu with the name of your child and camp they participated in.

ESU Warrior Sports Camps have contingency plans in the event of inclement weather, however, indoor practice facilities may be limited.
